CROCHET CHIMP PATTERN - FREE

 

when i look for a pattern i look for details i like, and yesterday as i was searching for some patterns of various things, i came across some micro tiny crocheted monkeys in different colors. blogged about them.

if you go back a couple, maybe a few blogs in date, youll find that blog. that made me think about  if anyone has made a crochet chimp, as close to reality as it can look.

alot of the chimps i find are cartoonish, or not  really the look and style id like to attempt to make.

but i did find this little fella, and he came with free instructions.

look at how absolutely tiny this thing is!

not sure of a pattern for these, and then, im not sure id have the patience and the eyesight to make these, but they are SOOO cute!

SOMETIMES SOME ARTIST JUST NEED TO BE MENTIONED (this ones amazing to me!)

i cant remember how long ago it was, but i can remember telling craig, my husband, how i wished id be able to find a stuffed animal that resembled a real ..REAL..animal, and i could see the ision in my head, always of a gorilla, but couldnt see HOW to make it myself (prolly a good thing, since i suck at sewing, lol), so i went on a google hunt, and csame back very unsucessful..

well, today while looking or KIPWA kits, i was on ebay, and saw a lising for a gorilla, made out of LAMB SKIN LEATHER...
i was curious, naturally, at seeing what, 1st LAMB SKIN LEATHER is, and seeing this doll in different images.

and, im not gonna lie..this ones amazing to me!

one teeny tiny complaint...i would like to have seen the doll without the pacifier in its mouth, and a full front image.

im gonna have to see if she has a webpage i can go see other works...maybe she has a chimp? and/or an orangutan!
oh my! id SO be in HEAVEN!! lol and very broke! lol

i wish her the best in her endeavors to make these absolutley amazing lifelike creations...and shes on my list of dolls to own now!

ADDITIONAL THINGS I USE TO HELP PROMOTE MY BUSINESS ON MY BLOGS

i try to set up every blog with the same stats counter, visitor counter, and over all stats counter, at the moment i use 3 free ones, i can customize.

each one tied to that particular blog to keep stats on that blog outside of any others i also blog on.
1st ones is: FLAGCOUNTER.when it has way more number to it it will fill up with 250 different flags IF I GET THAT MANY visitors from all over the world. right now, it shows my hit, from oklahoma USA.

2nd is: REVOLVERMAPS, and this one moves as your on the page...rotates in real time, well, not in REAL time, wed never see it move, lol but on the page its active and rotates around and will additionally show hit markers (you also customize this and the markers) from all over the world, the active ones within a 24 hour period will flash.

and my 3rd one is from: Whos.Amung.us
a 2d map that shows visitors fro the last 24 hours.

i love having these on my blogs, cause it allows me to know im being seen by many ppl all over the world.
mosty likely from a google hit, but still...its nive to know im global. :)

BLOG BACKGROUND SET

i like to try to theme each blog out with what that particular blog is about.

this ones about reborn animal dolls im making, or buy the kits for, or dream about, so, i feel it needs an appropriate blog background, to keep you in the "mood" of that blog.

i love monkeys and i know of 2 backgrounds i could use for this blog, but i chose something dsifferent, because monkeys wont be the ONLY animal i work on..
so, i chose a giraffe pattern...not too common, way more tiger, and zebra, and chetah print for everything out there in the real world, i wanted something a tad off the normal path, so i picked this giraffe one.

 of, course, it may change and then THIS blog would be insugnificant to this point, lol
but then, i may never change it, who knows.

did a tad of editing on the title as well, to make it "pop" a bit more.

TEST FEEDS WORKING FOR BLOG TO FACEBOOK PAGE

not sure WHY there are like a bjillion steps anymore to setting up an auto blog feed to any Facebook account, but there is, and it seems that on some of my blogs, i have to test the feed to make sure its working, by pushing out, a TESTER  post..

which the image reflects hit Facebook, fine..
which is good, because i intend to talk about my work and  idea on the blog, then just post  albums of the work, as well as show the same work on my blog, some ppl may neve rhit Facebook, or connect there, so i want to make sure i have a broad audience. as crazy as it seems, allot of ppl are NOT on Facebook, cant figure out why, because you can do anything and everything on that site..

but for those few ppl out there who are not on Facebook, i want a way for them to know about my work as well, i already have google+ linked in to my blogs, because google apparently bought blogger, so your blogger blog is tied to any gmail address you have, and when you blog, it wants to push out a blog to google+, so thats covered by google themselves, but not Facebook, i had to go in and set up every blog i have to an associated Facebook page.

anyway, without sounding like imrambling on about this...i have networked bloggs set up on this blog now to hit the Facebook page i have had ready for it.

CHIMP KIT ID LOVE TO OWN (KIPAWA CHIMP KIT LIMITED EDITION OF 500 World Wide)

i have this thing for monkeys, and i have tied to get every single moneky kit available out there that i can find since i am a reborn doll artist.

today i logged onto my email amd saw i was tagged in someones  post of a kit they want to let go of.
owners in the UK, and taking offers, im not sure what to offer to even get this, and i have other desires for my birthday money, i just havnt made up my mind on WHAT id want to do with it..yet.

but heres some pics to give you an idea of the kit, and how others have designed it.

i would SO jump on this offer, IF the limbs were at least 3/4th.
and in dolly language thats where the arm is almost full and you have a shoulder cap on ot made with fabric, so you can see the whole arm, or most of it anyway, same with the legs.

so the kit as it is, requires a body similar to this, and im guessing the  fur is just the entire body made in this fur material (which is fine, but im not a fan of that)

when id rather have a body, because the limbs would accommodate it if they were made this way, that looks like this:

i never see them anywhere online. extreemly rarre to find someone with a blank kit.

LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT EYE COLOR FOR MY ALICE GORILLA REBORN KITS

so i have 2 of the same kit, because i ADORE the realism in them, and the other day i was looking at some doll eye sites and trying to think which color eyes id do for these 2 gorilla kits i have.

im making one a girl, and going to name her: KOKO after my fav gorilla that knows sign language
and my 2nd one ill name BOM BOM for the male gorilla that passed away last year that i have a painting by.

KOKO & BOM BOM both have the same coloring, both are very dark, but i wanted to make my female kit more brown in the face

as opposed to more black in the face

 BOM BOM will have the darker look.
beyond that, i have to find the perfect eye colors for them in those color tones ill make these in..

and thats where the colored eyes came in at.
i believe, ill let BOM BOM have the grey ones (pic 1)
and KOKO will have brown ones, but which brown ones? thats yet to be decided.

i cant wait to start these 2 kits.
the kit itself is done by SIMON LAURENS. i have an orangutan (very relaistic as well) i have to do, and also want a 2nd kit to make into a boy.

im looking for this artist, or any other to make a super relaistic chimapzee baby, that will be pushed out as a kit.

i know of another artist who is making a very good looking gorilla silicone (1st with the possibility of making it into a kit as well) TONYA MCDOWELL

omg! what id do to have this in full silicone! you have NO idea!
will cost a bunch, i know it will, and i cant justify a few thousand (yes, you read that right) for a full silicone doll id have to invest in paints and rooting materials just to get the realisim from that doll when its made, so i am poraying she pushes this out as a kit too, she said she thought she might.
im so there (x2! lol) if she does make this into a kit...
ill have to have one for a female, and one for a male, HAVE TO!

and, of course, ill have to chose eyes for it then, if i can get it in kit form 1st, but how awesome would it be to own a silicone gorilla baby? pretty dern cool! im thinking!
